What it is?

Goyo is your online TV companion, with discussion focussed on what's on TV right now, polls, and live Twitter feeds about the shows.

Why is it?

We love watching what people say on Twitter when we watch TV, but keeping track of all the tweets makes conversation tricky. We want to make discussion about TV better, easier and more fun.

Who is it?

We're Forward Internet Group, a collection on Internet businesses. We love making new stuff - and we also love developers

Why the name 'Goyo'?

Um, well... we already owned the domain but weren't using it. It's nice & short so we thought we'd do something with it!

Why do I need a Twitter account?

We know many Twitter users love to talk about TV, so the easiest way for these people to use Goyo is to log in via Twitter. You can also tweet from inside Goyo or follow people you meet with Twitter.

Will you spam my Twitter account?

Like many services, we've included the ability to tweet what you're doing on our site, but we've tried to make it obvious when this happens. When you post a message, a tick box lets you post the same message straight to Twitter. In other places, we'll open a Twitter window so you can see what you're about to tweet, and edit or discard it.

Why only five channels?

We're still in the beginning stages of this project, so to begin with we're keeping it basic. The five main UK TV channels have the most viewers, so we're starting there.

Can I use the site from outside the UK?

Yes - but it's set up for people watching UK TV programmes, so it might not be much fun. We're based in London so we're focussing on the UK for now.

Something's broken / Why can't I...? / You should add...

We're still working on Goyo. Right now we want to test the site with as many users as we can, and find out what they think. We know some things might not work as expected and some features might be missing. If you find anything that's broken or doesn't work as expected, or have any suggestions for what we could add or change, please let us know on Twitter.
